Ugliest bat in the world: vampire bat

Vampire bats are bats whose food source is blood. The species is native to the Americas, ranging from Mexico to Brazil, Chile, Uruguay and Argentina. Its nose aids the animal in locating areas where the blood flows close to the skin of its prey; mammals. Vampire bats can walk, jump, and even run by using a unique, bounding gait. They use infrared radiation to locate blood hotspots on their prey.
